Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salinas, an IHG Hotel

I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn in Salinas! My stay actually quite exceeded my expectations since I was looking for an inexpensive double bed suite for my mom, 99-yo grandma, and myself. From the checkin, I had a warm interaction with the person at the front desk. When I asked if there was room service, she offered to give me accommodations (blankets) on the spot (for my grandma) and directed us with helpful info about breakfast, services, etc. I don't know if that helpfulness is mandatory service but some hotels like Hilton that I stayed at the previous night don't provide that helpful info on the spot. When I got to my room, it was a bigger room than I expected, with spacious beds, good Wi-Fi and a Samsung TV with good channels. The bathroom was spacious too and the heater was great. The rooms looked spacious and high-quality, and renovated. Breakfast the next day was really great - they have a variety of breakfasty foods to offer. I recommend this stay for anyone visiting temp or a few days in Salinas!!

Everything about the property, staff, cleanliness, convenience location for family funeral we attended in the area very satisfied. I would choose this hotel again for any future visits. The breakfast was great!

Room was large, clean, bathroom was large with dove shampoo and lotion. Liked cabinet in hallway with fridge, microwave. Shelf at door entrance nice touch. Blackout shades inside window frame for no light great idea. Also, no more blowing curtains while AC is running. Chase lounge great addition. Very comfy bed. All furniture is against one wall, which maximizes your space and functionally.

Room was great. recently renovated. But don't come looking for a fitness room (they don't have one)

The facility was very clean and quiet. The beds are newer and comfortable. The rooms offer use of a Keurig which is super easy to use as well as 24 hr coffee and tea in the lobby.
